I hadn't intended to work on this, late as the deadline was set. But the mermaid in me told me to do it anyway before I lose my drive to dive deep: A summer swim under the sea with lotsa corals, rocks and amenemones... Can't tell you how very proud I am to have finished this in a fairly short amount of time of 3-4 days. I haven't been so hyped to finish something up in such a stellar way since my highlight piece of 2008. And that was months back 8D Don't care how long I've spent working on it. It was FUUUNNN working through it. And that's all what mostly matters... Summer-themed Contest Entry:  =Kyle teh Shark-Echidna =Aqua teh SharkComments would be highly appreciated here, cuz this here's one of those things I actually worked hard on beyond mediocrity XD That and I know for a fact me digital pieces aren't as great as my traditional stuff. Well I have to say, simply incredable. I can clearly see why it took you so quite a few days to work on it. It's really amazing.

Chaos created the universe and will destroy it.
I did use a few downloaded brushes (like for the bubbles) but I'd say 98% of it's my doing--in part with following through a few tutorials here and there to help me out.
Except the corals, anemones and rocks, all of which was rendered on the fly by myself.

It's actually pretty weird to see them without legs as... normal fish.
But then again it looks kinda cute and it's a really nice idea~ :3
I really love this piece, it's so bright, colorful and cheerful~ makes me wanna have summer again~ ;w;
It sure is obvious that you put a damn lot of effort into this. They're both, Aqua and Kyle, well drawn and I really like especially their expressions and I think you did a great job on their hands (I think it's worth being mentioned as I know how damn hard hands can be to draw).
I really like the background with its bright and cheerful athmosphere as well. All these rocks and underwater plants are just awesome and I think you just drew the water surface just superb~ owo
